This recipe is definitely a crowd pleaser for a busy weeknight or a cosy stay-at-home weekend!
Things You’ll Need:
- Chicken breast
- Taco Seasoning
- Cream Cheese
- Chicken Broth
- Salsa
- Crockpot
- Chicken Shredder (optional)
What You’re Going to Do:
This is the best part! Prep takes less than 10 minutes and it can cook all day long!
- Add all the ingredients, except the cream cheese, in your crockpot and stir it all together. Allow the chicken to cook for 4 hours on high or 6 hours on low.
- When the chicken is cooked, pull it out and shred your chicken. Then add the shredded chicken back in the crockpot with the cream cheese.
- Allow the cream cheese to melt and mix it in.
And thats it! Put it on your chicken on a taco or make it into a burrito bowl with your favorite taco toppings!

3 Chicken Breast
1 Cup Chicken Broth
1 Cup Salsa
1 Packet Taco Seasoning
4oz Cream Cheese
Directions
- Add the chicken breast, broth, salsa, and taco seasoning in a crockpot. Cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6 hours. When the chicken is cooked, shred it and add back into the crockpot. Mix in the cream cheese and allow to melt. Serve with your favorite taco toppings and enjoy!
