Easy Crockpot Creamy Chicken Tacos

Taco Tuesday just got a lot easier (and tastier)! Once you try this effortless crockpot meal you’ll never want to go back!

This recipe is definitely a crowd pleaser for a busy weeknight or a cosy stay-at-home weekend!

Things You’ll Need:

  1. Chicken breast
  2. Taco Seasoning
  3. Cream Cheese
  4. Chicken Broth
  5. Salsa
  6. Crockpot
  7. Chicken Shredder (optional)

What You’re Going to Do:

This is the best part! Prep takes less than 10 minutes and it can cook all day long!

  1. Add all the ingredients, except the cream cheese, in your crockpot and stir it all together. Allow the chicken to cook for 4 hours on high or 6 hours on low.
  2. When the chicken is cooked, pull it out and shred your chicken. Then add the shredded chicken back in the crockpot with the cream cheese.
  3. Allow the cream cheese to melt and mix it in.

And thats it! Put it on your chicken on a taco or make it into a burrito bowl with your favorite taco toppings!

This quick and easy dinner recipe will quickly be added to your family’s weekly dinner rotation!

Ingredients

  • 3 Chicken Breast

  • 1 Cup Chicken Broth

  • 1 Cup Salsa

  • 1 Packet Taco Seasoning

  • 4oz Cream Cheese

Directions

  • Add the chicken breast, broth, salsa, and taco seasoning in a crockpot. Cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6 hours. When the chicken is cooked, shred it and add back into the crockpot. Mix in the cream cheese and allow to melt. Serve with your favorite taco toppings and enjoy!
