Hello there, friends! I’m so excited to share a little bit about the crew behind this homestead. We’re a family of four with one furry friend, and we’re passionate about living a simple, sustainable life on our little piece of land.
The Parents
First up, there’s me and my husband, Marshal. We’re the dream team when it comes to wrangling kids, tending to the garden, and keeping the homestead running smoothly. I could not ask for a better partner to take on this homestead life with!
The Little Ones
Next up we have our two sweet kiddos! We have one, rambunctious, toddler who always keeps us on our toes plus one precious newborn! Our toddler is always eager to help with chores especially cooking in the kitchen. While our newborn can’t do much yet, I know there is a budding homesteader ready to jump I’m with the rest of us!
Our Furry Friend
Finally, we can’t forget about our furry friend, Mac. She has been by our side since my husband and I got married 7 years ago. She loves to be outside with us while we’re working in the garden and makes the best farm dog!
Our Homestead
Our homestead is a little house that we rent from family that sits on approximately an acre of land. Right now we mainly focus on gardening and from-scratch cooking. Our goal is to one day expand to some land of our own to add livestock, an orchard, and more!
